Earthworks Worker/Drainage Installer We are looking for an enthusiastic earthworks worker/drainage installer for a permanent position to join our client Vesivek Oy's tight-knit and professional team in Turku. The role involves the construction and repair of drainage and underdrainage systems for buildings and yard areas in detached and terraced house projects in the Southwest Finland region. Vesivek Oy is the market leader in roof renovations and rainwater systems in Finland, employing hundreds of professionals across the country. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the construction of drainage and rainwater systems and related earthworks. Your tasks include preparing excavations for drainage installation, installing drainage pipes according to drawings, and installing inspection and collection manholes. Additionally, you will participate in spreading filter fabrics and drainage gravel, constructing and connecting rainwater systems, and performing filling and finishing work in yard areas. In this role, you will also act as an excavator spotter as part of the work group, so experience from earthworks sites and safe working practices around machinery is important. Proficiency in operating a small wheel loader is considered essential for the performance of the duties. Requirements - Strong previous practical experience in the construction of drainage and underdrainage systems or from the earthworks sector - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Ability to read drawings - Expertise in piping installations - Proficiency in using measuring equipment, especially lasers - Readiness for physically demanding work - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Careful and precise work approach - Initiative and responsibility for the quality of work Work sites may vary weekly, so the position requires mobility and the possibility to stay overnight on assignments in other locations if necessary. However, the sites are mainly located in the Turku area, though work may also occur elsewhere in Finland.
