We are seeking a nurse for a permanent full-time position at our Kajaani service point. The employment begins on September 1, 2026, or as agreed. Our goal is to provide university students with the same range of student healthcare services regardless of their place of study. We serve students through local clinics, remote appointments, and national digital services. We are developing digital services and have implemented a new client platform this year. We use Acute as our client and patient information system. Our digital client platform is BeeHealthy's YTHSDigi. Our client base is pleasant and committed to their care. Through our work, we influence the future of university students and serve as an essential link in securing their ability to study. The duties of the public health/registered nurse include health meetings and check-ups, handling sick-visit appointments, basic mental health work according to YTHS processes, student community work, and health promotion tasks such as vaccinations, health counseling, and student health consultations. You would be part of an expert multidisciplinary team. We hope for good teamwork skills and a solution-oriented approach. In addition to Finnish, sufficient proficiency in English/Swedish is considered an advantage. We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act. At YTHS, we are committed to promoting diversity and equality and encourage all qualified applicants to apply. Regarding remuneration and terms of employment, we follow the YTHS collective agreement (YTHS TES) and, where not specified, the Health Services Sector collective agreement (TPTES). The position-specific salary consists of a basic salary according to the demand group and possible special factor supplements. Additionally, we pay a personal salary component, which includes a yearly commitment guarantee (up to 11% of the position-specific salary). In a full-time (38h 35min/week) nurse position (VR4), the salary is 2,779–3,085 euros per month, depending on expertise and experience. Do you have questions?
