Construction assistants for on-site projects in the Helsinki metropolitan area. We are continuously looking for new construction helpers with a positive attitude for varied jobs on sites and tasks. Vision offers work from daily gigs to several months. In these jobs, the worker’s attitude matters for the duration of the assignment. If the work goes well, it is noticed on site and good workers are kept on site. About the work: tasks typically include carrying materials, site cleaning, making protections, small construction tasks and grip-sanding; duties vary by site but are essentially supportive building tasks, with training provided as needed. If you already have experience with building trades, that is a plus, and familiarity with various tools is even better. A basic construction qualification provides good confidence for these tasks. Locations are around the Helsinki area and we aim to place workers so that travel is not overly long. Having your own car helps for commuting to suburban sites; for central sites it is preferable to use public transport as we cannot promise parking. To apply you need: a positive attitude (no prior experience required but beneficial), a valid occupational safety card (if you don’t have one we’ll arrange it before work starts), Finnish language skills (supervisor language is Finnish), good work ethics (you do what you are assigned and ask for more when finished), reliability (we trust you as an employee).
