Practical Nurse

Join Validia to help create the story of your life. We are looking for practical nurses or final-year students for shifts at Valkeala Validia house. You would work as a gig nurse or for longer substitutions to ensure our clients’ safe and quality life. We pay wages according to the Finnish Private Social Services Sector collective agreement, and pay is task-based. Your duties include assisting with daily activities, medication administration, documentation, and providing coaching and activities for residents. The unit serves residents with developmental disabilities and autism. We support and guide residents daily and meet each resident as an individual. We offer a warm, encouraging work community, meaningful moments, diverse tasks, thorough orientation, and pay according to the collective agreement (G20C for practical nurses). You will receive health and accident coverage as part of the employment relationship. We request applicable social and healthcare education or be in the final stages of studies, registration with the public social welfare professional registry, minimum 18 years of age, fluency in Finnish, vaccination protection as per Infectious Diseases Act and tuberculosis screening, and a clean criminal record.
