Plasma Cutting Machine Operator

We are looking for an experienced plasma cutting operator for our Tampere unit. You will work as part of the production team and be responsible for plasma cutting and related pre- and post-processing tasks to high quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include: performing plasma cutting according to drawings and work instructions; prep work for cutting such as material selection, fixturing and settings; post-processing of cut parts including deburring, grinding and measurement; maintenance and cleanliness of machines and equipment in cooperation with maintenance; ensuring quality and occupational safety requirements and reporting deviations; and, when needed, collaborating with other departments on installation and assembly tasks. Requirements include experience with plasma cutting or similar processing methods; good reading of drawings and measurement skills; basic knowledge of metalworking processes and material behavior during cutting; ability to work independently and carefully as well as in a team.
