The Financial Director is a full-time position following standard working hours. The role is responsible for leading, developing, and supervising the parish's finances, assets, and support services. Key duties include managing financial administration, investment activities, and procurement, as well as participating in the administration of real estate and burial services. As a supervisor, the Financial Director ensures the application of official and collective agreements and participates in the parish's payroll and personnel management. The role involves a central part in preparing and presenting matters for the church council and implementing its decisions. Additionally, the director manages investments, insurance, contract administration, leasing activities, and financial risk management, ensuring that procurements comply with good administration and procurement legislation. Applicants must have a suitable university degree and sufficient familiarity with the finances and administration of public communities. Membership in the Evangelical Lutheran Church, excellent oral and written Finnish skills, and satisfactory Swedish comprehension are required. Experience in supervision and a proven track record of successful leadership are considered an advantage.
