We are now seeking a dentist for a permanent position at the Jämsä dental clinic. Our clinic in Jämsä is medium-sized and has 13 treatment rooms on two floors. Your colleagues will be dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants. The work is varied and can be developed to suit you, including prosthetics or surgery if you wish. Patient relationships are long-term, and patients generally continue their care with the same dentist. This means you can see the results of your work, which helps you develop your skills. Dentists have two emergency appointment slots per day. Routine follow-up appointments are booked a few months ahead. Consulting colleagues is easy, and referral practices to specialist and specialised medical care work well. We use the Lifecare patient information system. Keski-Suomi Wellbeing Services County arranges regular training sessions for dentists and shared training afternoons. We also offer a good range of internal training to develop your skills. The wellbeing services county uses a career-step pay model. The starting basic salary for a newly qualified dentist in this position is €4,790.97 per month at level 1C, in addition to procedure-based fees under the doctors’ collective agreement. The required qualification is a dentist’s licence to practise in Finland. We hope applicants have good teamwork and interpersonal skills. Employment terms are determined by the doctors’ employment and officeholders’ collective agreement. A probationary period applies. The position requires suitability under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act concerning chickenpox and measles. The employer will determine the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations.
