As the business grows, we are now looking for a Lead Engineer to lead the instrumentation and automation design components of diverse projects. You will operate as part of Sweco's broader organization of electrical, automation, and instrumentation experts, where as a lead you will take a strong role in the implementation of your own projects and the guidance of the project team. In this position, you will be involved in the industry's most interesting design projects from preliminary investigations to implementation design. We will agree on a more detailed job description based on your interest, expertise, and experience. Your work is independent, but not lonely. In your work, you will also be able to network with experts from Sweco's other offices and collaborate on larger joint projects. You will receive all the support you need to succeed in the position from your supervisor and other skilled colleagues across Finland. We have a cozy office in Ilmala, Helsinki. We work according to a hybrid model, flexibly combining office and remote work. The position requires office work at least 3 days a week. Keys to success in the position: - You have several years of experience in automation and/or instrumentation design in industrial projects. - By education, you are an electrical/automation engineer or an M.Sc. (Tech). - We expect fluent oral and written skills in Finnish and English. - Knowledge of applications used in instrumentation and automation design as well as previous experience in project management tasks are considered an advantage. - You can grasp overall concepts and your working style is proactive and efficient. You meet customers smoothly and naturally, and identify their needs.
