We are looking for a systematic and customer-oriented office secretary to work in versatile administrative tasks at the adult education and arts basic education institute in Jyväskylä. The role involves general education office secretary duties, as well as arts basic education secretary tasks. Responsibilities include managing employment matters for part-time teachers, models, and accompanists, preparing work and salary data, and maintaining systems (ESS, Hellewi, Monetra). Customer service tasks include handling student registrations, managing consent forms in Koski, and external booking management. The role also covers invoicing and financial processes, including sales invoicing for facilities, materials, instrument rentals, and joint courses, as well as course fee refunds and Teosto payments for music courses. You will be responsible for statistical reporting excluding financial reporting. The position requires a suitable vocational qualification, strong ICT skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously. Good interaction and cooperation skills, and customer service in English are essential. The employment terms are governed by the KVTES agreement. The working hours are 36.25 hours/week, with a monthly salary of 2730.31 euros plus experience-based allowance up to 8%. The primary workplace is at the adult education institute, with partial remote work possible (about one day per week). The start date is 1 September 2026 or as agreed.
