Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical strategy for an AI investment platform
- Collaborate with investment professionals to translate philosophy into models
- Build and oversee data pipelines, NLP systems, model training frameworks
- Hire and mentor AI research and engineering team
- Make buy vs. build decisions for data, infrastructure, and AI tools
Requirements
- 10+ years in data-intensive technology roles
- 5+ years in senior leadership or architecture
- Strong Python and ML ecosystem skills (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, NLP transformers)
- Experience with large-scale data or AI systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Deep understanding of financial markets, quant research, hedge funds, or asset management
