Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a restaurant manager who can make the whole operation run smoothly and inspire people. Now you have the opportunity to lead a diverse restaurant complex in Pirkanmaa. In this role you will not only lead a restaurant but also drive a culture of doing. You will be responsible for the daily operations and their development. You will manage a wide range of services including meeting services, breakfast, lunch, à la carte, and various events and corporate occasions. The role requires the ability to handle multiple streams simultaneously and keep things under control even in busy times. This is a genuinely operational first-line management role. You will be part of the day-to-day, engage in hands-on work, and lead your team primarily by example. Office days are about 1–2 per week, otherwise you will be where the heart of the restaurant beats. What kind of professional are we looking for? We are not looking for the very first restaurant manager but for an experienced doer who can take on responsibility from day one. We hope you bring: previous experience as a restaurant manager; strong track record in leading restaurant operations; ability to make decisions and lead with determination, while being personable; skill to motivate and commit the team to common goals; organizational skills and the ability to prioritize when the day is full; a desire to develop—not just maintain, but improve operations. There is also potential to use your own car for commuting. The restaurant is located in an area with limited public transport, so a car facilitates shifts, especially evenings and weekends.
