Welcome to our team in Rovitiski? home care. We are looking for several substitute Lähihoitajia for our unit for varying lengths. Home care is carried out either in the client’s home or through remote visits, in accordance with an individualized service and care plan. With home care we support the client’s own resources and functioning along with multidisciplinary care to enable high-quality, safe and meaningful living at home. Our home care clients are mainly elderly people whose health requires special attention and multidisciplinary care. Lähihoitajat are part of a multidisciplinary team where everyone’s contribution is valued. Teammates and a first-line supervisor support you in getting acquainted with the new workplace. In your role as a Home Care Assistant you guide and assist with basic care and support everyday life with a rehabilitative approach, supporting the client’s own resources. As a home care assistant you act as the client’s personal caregiver and conduct RAI assessments and evaluate the client’s functional capacity with the team. The job also includes meeting elderly clients, planning, implementing and evaluating care, and, if needed, arranging supporting services with the rest of the team. What the job requires from you? - A qualification as a practical nurse (lähihoitaja) or another suitable previous qualification and registration with JulkiTerhikki and/or JulkiSuosikki (Lupa- and supervisory agency) or - Practical nurse or nursing student recognition for substitutes when filling vacancies - Driving licence and access to your own car.
