Come and do varied and interesting work with elderly people! One permanent practical nurse position is open at Helmiranta in Kauhava. You will receive a good orientation for your tasks and will be supported by a friendly, multidisciplinary regional team. Helmiranta provides senior housing and home care services based on the individual needs of the client. We have approximately 30 clients living in their own apartments, and we also have common areas and a dining hall. We emphasize community and a rehabilitative approach to work. As a practical nurse, your workday consists of diverse tasks; in addition to basic care, these include, for example, wound care, medication management, and functional capacity assessment. We work closely with clients and their relatives, and we also implement self-care nursing. Work in home care is versatile and varied, and no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to do interesting, responsible, and independent work and develop your professional skills. We hope you are courageous in facing new situations and possess good community and interaction skills. The work requires good organizational skills and flexibility in changing situations. Home care responds to clients' needs for assistance every day of the year, and we work in three shifts. You will have the opportunity to influence your shifts. Eligibility requirement: a vocational qualification in social and health care as a practical nurse (eligibility according to Act 559/1994 or 817/2015). Registration in Valvira's central register of professionals is required. The position requires a driver's license and the use of a private car. Home care medication permits must be completed or completed within a month of the start of employment. Language requirements include good oral and written skills in Finnish. In the selection process, we emphasize the applicant's suitability for the position or the team. The terms of employment and remuneration are determined according to the SOTE agreement. A probationary period is applied to the employment. Position-specific salary 2706€/month. An acceptable health certificate and a criminal record extract according to Section 28 of the Act (741/2023) must be presented before accepting the position.
