Metalworker

We are looking for a motivated metalworker for a long-term employment relationship for our client. The work begins through staffing agency employment, but the goal is to hire the person permanently to the client's own payroll. In this role, years of experience are not the most important factor, but rather the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a readiness to take on diverse production tasks. YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF * you have some experience in the metal industry * you are familiar with the most common metal materials * you have used machines used, for example, in bending, cutting, or sheet metal working * you learn new tasks quickly * you are proactive, energetic, and responsible * you get along well with different types of people * you want to develop and take responsibility in your work. JOB DUTIES This is a versatile production role, which includes for example: * assisting tasks in bending and with the sheet metal cutter * creating threads and countersinks * assembly of small parts * unloading laser cuts * material handling * other assisting production tasks. If you have the interest and skills, you may later take responsibility for packaging and shipping functions as well.
