About the role

Practical Nurse, come work with us supporting people recovering from mental health issues. We are seeking two practical nurses experienced in mental health and substance abuse work for permanent positions as instructors. Are you inspired by varied and meaningful work in our residential service units in Lahti? As a practical nurse instructor, you will play an important role in supporting clients' recovery and enabling their inclusion within and outside the unit. Your work includes guiding and supporting clients in strengthening daily living skills, managing financial affairs, and implementing self-care with a recovery-oriented approach. You will serve as the responsible instructor for designated clients, enabling the building of long-term and confidential client relationships. Network work with relatives, authorities, and other partners is a natural and essential part of your daily routine. The functional daily life of our units includes diverse group activities, trips, and events, which you will actively participate in planning and implementing together with clients and your work community. You will work as part of a professional, warm, and collaborative work community where everyone's contribution is valued and colleagues help each other. Requirements: - Degree as a Practical Nurse, preferably specializing in mental health and substance abuse work - The selected candidate is required to provide a criminal record extract before the start of employment - Hygiene passport - Medication management training, which can be completed upon starting work - Good oral and written skills in Finnish.
