We are seeking a psychologist for a parental leave substitute position at the HUS Child Psychiatry line's Hyvinkää clinic. The substitution begins on September 14, 2026, or by agreement, and ends on November 19, 2027. The Hyvinkää Child Psychiatry clinic is located at Hyvinkää Hospital. Administratively, the Hyvinkää clinic is part of the northern area of the child psychiatry line, which also includes the Tikkurila clinic. The Hyvinkää clinic examines and treats children under 13 in need of specialized medical care from the Järvenpää, Tuusula, Nurmijärvi, Mäntsälä, and Hyvinkää regions. The psychologist's job description includes psychological consultations, assessments and examinations, family and network work, fixed-term focused individual and group therapies, and monitoring treatment processes in the role of a responsible employee. The psychologist works at the Hyvinkää clinic as part of a multidisciplinary team, and there are three other psychologist colleagues at the site. In HUS Child Psychiatry, you will become part of Finland's largest expert community working in child psychiatry. In addition to clinical work, we offer opportunities for various development and project tasks. We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in client and patient areas, and a health certificate regarding pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units.
