Responsibilities
- Lead and own Veikkaus' Sportsbook Pre-Match Trading team
- Own the pre-match offering across all sports
- Define operating models and implement best practices
- Drive competitiveness of our sportsbook
- Develop the team's capabilities and manage pricing and margins
- Ensure data-driven decision making across odds, liabilities and trading performance
- Collaborate with Risk Management, Product, BI and Technology
Requirements
- Extensive experience in sportsbook pre-match trading, odds compilation and market management across multiple sports
- At least 5-7 years of experience managing teams
- Strong understanding of betting mathematics, pricing, margins, liabilities and market behaviour
- Experience developing trading strategies and processes that improve profitability and competitiveness
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable trading decisions
- Experience working with trading platforms, odds feeds and sportsbook management systems
- Ability to lead change, develop people and establish best practices within a growing organization
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in English
