Are you ready to lead a skilled design team and help build the future of electricity transmission and distribution? We seek a Planning Manager for a permanent position to strengthen Turku Energia Sähköverkkojen network construction in our Turku office. In this role you will lead about ten expert planners, ensuring that planning work is performed with quality and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, objectives, guidelines, and customer needs. You will supervise and develop your team, manage resources efficiently, ensure smooth workflows, and maintain competence development, collaborating closely with Turku Energia Sähköverkkojen units, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Your core responsibilities include leading planning projects according to laws, regulations, targets, guidelines and customer needs; operational leadership and development of planning work and the team; ensuring quality, accuracy, and scheduling of low/medium voltage and outdoor lighting construction plans; managing planning documentation; scheduling, resourcing and monitoring planning work; directing external suppliers and maintaining customer relationships; participating in development of processes and operating models to meet existing and changing needs; and cooperating with internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a key part in enabling high-quality, reliable and cost-efficient electricity network construction. You should have a suitable technical education (e.g., DI or AMK engineer) or strong experience in a similar role; leadership experience; knowledge of the electricity distribution network design and construction; strong scheduling and resourcing capabilities; and strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
