Driver - Guide

The task: We are seeking a transportation program guide for North Resort Oy. In this role you will implement North Resort Oy’s transport services and participate together with other program guides in delivering safe and memorable program services for our international guests. You may also participate in other operational tasks of the travel center as needed. Key duties include customer transports in a safe and customer-oriented manner; daily inspection, maintenance and cleanliness of transport equipment; executing program services in the guide role across seasons; guiding customers and giving safety instructions; assisting with property, equipment and maintenance tasks such as snow work, firewood maintenance and other daily operational duties; and, if needed, participating in other customer service and operational tasks at North Resort Oy. Requirements: Suitable education or experience in transport, travel, program services or guiding; valid driving license class C (D or BE considered an advantage); good customer service and interaction skills; fluent English; other language skills considered an advantage; good physical condition and health and readiness to work in changing weather; valid first aid training (EA1 and EA2 considered an advantage; if not available, willingness to participate in employer-provided first aid training); commitment to North Resort Oy’s safety instructions and safe operating procedures; willingness to participate broadly in daily resort operations.
