Software Tester

We are now looking for a Software Tester in Hämeenlinna for testing vehicle software in product development and delivery projects. In this job, you will be part of a Scrum team responsible for several vehicle software products. You are the one who ensures that the implementation works according to plan. Your main tasks are to develop software testing and test cases for our software. You perform software testing in lab and vehicle environments. As part of the team, you will also participate in the development of the features of these products. We are looking for a person who already has experience in testing devices and overall systems. The systems under the team's responsibility communicate via vehicle buses with several other systems, so experience with CAN buses is also considered an advantage. You are solution-oriented by nature and look for creative ways to build methods for software testing. You do your work well, are capable of independent work, and bring your own touch to the team with your expertise. The work requires presence in vehicles and at the test bench to perform testing, although there is a possibility to work remotely in part. Work is mainly done in Hämeenlinna and may include some travel in Finland and possibly abroad. Tools and technologies used in our software products: Qt/C++, Jira, Confluence, XRay, Robot Framework, Python, Squish, possibly various automation software, CAN buses. What kind of expert are we looking for? You are an eager learner with a precise way of working. You have good cooperation skills and enjoy teamwork. You write and speak fluently in both Finnish and English. You are interested in mobile equipment and eager to develop your skills in testing. What we expect from you: - Enthusiastic and practical approach to testing activities. - Previous experience in testing, developing and documenting test cases. - Good cooperation skills - Suitable education (e.g. engineer's degree).
