At AFRY in Gothenburg and Varberg, we have very high and broad competence in Industrial IT and Automation specialized in ABB 800xA with about 20 automation engineers. Now we need to be even more! We can proudly say that we are one of the largest providers of automation competence and we have many large projects underway with our customers in the industry. As an automation engineer at AFRY, you will develop solutions for our customers who are in almost all industrial sectors, with a particularly strong position in the energy, automotive, mining, process, and forestry industries. You will work with everything from designing and programming automation systems for process applications to carrying out tests, installing and commissioning plants at our customers' sites. You will also work on managing customer relations, helping our customers develop their applications and HMI standards. You will also work with migrations from AC450 to AC800M with AFRY Quality Tool as a tool and model. The work will be performed partly with local customers but also at our offices in in-house projects. Qualifications: We are looking for automation engineers with experience working with complex solutions. We would like you to enjoy building contacts both externally and internally and be stimulated by sharing knowledge between colleagues. Experience-wise, you match the following description: Experienced engineer, technician or equivalent with many years of experience from industrial automation, control systems and preferably also within machine safety and system upgrades. Many years of experience of application work in ABB 800xA systems is a requirement. You also have experience of working with system design, electrical infrastructure, I/O and networks. Have a B-driver's license as travel in periods is a natural part of your role. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as you will use both languages daily in the service. Meriting knowledge: Experience of older ABB products AC450 and MP200. Experience from the pulp and paper industry and/or metal and mining. Experience of the 800xA RMC library and/or the P&P library. Certification in system safety, machine safety, SIL or cybersecurity. Experience of networks and infrastructure, as well as systems and protocols such as IEC61850, Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus & Profinet. Experience of ABB software AC400 Advant Master Engineering. The position may require that you can work in our security-classified projects. This means that a security screening is carried out according to Swedish legislation on security protection.
