Practical Nurse

We are seeking two practical nurses for the Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county, initial placement in home care in Vaasa, central area 4. As a practical nurse, you will work in the client's home according to their individual care and service plan. The work is based on a 3-shift system, is versatile and varied. Client visits are primarily conducted alone. The use of a private car is considered an advantage. Good cooperation and interaction skills as well as teamwork skills are considered an advantage. Eligibility requirements: Degree of practical nurse or a degree in accordance with the Decree on Healthcare Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Care Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of the country. Those with a practical nurse's degree are required to be registered in both of Valvira's professional registers, Terhikki, and Suosikki. Additionally, the selected person must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016) and a criminal record extract as mentioned in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period will be applied.
