g2 Recruitment is looking for a Project Buyer to work on the delivery of a pilot electronics product which is due to be launched in 2026; The client is based in the Amsterdam region, they are looking for a project buyer to support through product development, manufacturing and delivery. START: ASAP – July – Immediate Start LOCATION: Amsterdam based office, primarily in the office with some remote working DURATION: 6 Month role – Freelance – Temporary to Permanent is available The ideal candidate will have experience covering projects buying, ideally within an electronic equipment manufacturing setting, the client is happy with any background covering industrial, defence, consumer, medical device, pharmaceutical, FMCG - hardware / electronic type of equipment. The role would be based 3-4 days per week in the office, with an average of a days working from home. This is an English language speaking role for an international client. The client requires EU nationals or candidates who are already eligible to work in The Netherlands. Specification: Project Buyer – 3-10+ years – Multiple projects management experience 3+ Years of technical projects experience – ideally working with equipment manufacturing and supply companies Working history ideally covering supply chain coordination for a mix of mechanical, electrical, electronic, sheet metal and plastics parts Ideally experience working with an international client, international supply chains, international manufacturing Technical engineering background is not a requirement, but industry knowledge is beneficial The client is in the process of bringing a new product to market, they have a physical new product introduction, product launch which concerns a new brand within an existing line, related software/firmware launch for the new product line and all associated processes.
