Steam Melter

We are seeking steam meltters for our client in Muhos (Oulu). If you do not fear the winter’s cold and are available for early-morning shifts, you could be the candidate we are looking for. Job details: we are hiring for melting-related tasks at concrete pours and other cast-in-place sites. No previous experience in steam melting is required, as you will join an experienced team and receive on-the-job training. The role includes melting targets, caring for the melting equipment, and related supporting duties. We expect good physical condition, the ability to work outdoors, and availability for night or early-morning shifts, with flexibility to work other times as needed. Shifts may extend depending on the situation, and there could be unexpected additional work. We value flexibility and a long-term approach to the job, plus a motivated and proactive attitude. A valid Työturvallisuuskortti (occupational safety card) is required; C- and E-cards are considered a plus. Having your own car is a bonus. The work runs through the melting season, roughly from October–November to March. Hours may range from full weekly hours to just a few shifts per week, so the job can suit someone seeking full-time or part-time/zero-hours work. Pay is determined by prior experience, and the job follows the mechanical and electrical industry collective agreement.
