Service Salesperson

Primary location: TURKU Become a service salesperson for customer ownership and S-Bank service points in the Turku region. The position is permanent and part-time, 30 h/week. Would you like to do customer service work where you get to help people with their everyday banking services, benefits, and questions related to customer ownership? For us, the work of a service salesperson is quite ordinary work – customer encounters, guidance, sales, instructing on digital services, and occasional small adjustments. However, ordinariness does not mean boring, as every customer and workday is slightly different. What does a service salesperson do? As a service salesperson, you will meet customers face-to-face at customer ownership and S-Bank service points in the Turku region at Wiklund, Prisma Mylly, and Itäharju. Shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday between 9:00–18:00 and Saturdays between 10:00–16:00. The core of your work is to sell S-Bank services and help customers get the most benefit from customer ownership and S-Bank's daily services. You will work in a cooperative company where customers are also owners, which is why the significance of customer ownership is visible in the work every day. In everyday life, this means, for example, that you: - tell customers about the benefits of customer ownership, Bonuses, and the use of the S-Benefit card - help customers become customer owners and update customer-related information - guide the use of S-mobile, benefit coupons, digital services, and other solutions that make everyday life easier - advise on matters related to S-Bank's daily services - identify the customer's situation and direct them to S-Bank experts if necessary, for example, regarding loans, saving, or investing - perform target-oriented sales and customer service work as part of an expert team. The service salesperson's salary is based on the Retail Sector collective agreement (salary class C). The hourly wage, depending on education and years of experience, is €13.96-16.08/h, in addition to which collective agreement supplements are paid. Additionally, there is the possibility of a performance bonus paid quarterly. What factors are we looking for? You will succeed best in the job if you enjoy meeting people and genuinely want to help the customer. You listen, ask the right questions, and can explain services clearly even when the matter is new to the customer. You operate smoothly with digital services and systems and are not deterred by learning new things. You don't need to know everything in advance. It is important to us that you are self-motivated, want to learn new things, and are inspired by target-oriented sales work. You have good cooperation and interaction skills, and can work under pressure. We expect previous experience in customer service or sales work as well as fluent Finnish language skills.
