Korsmalmi Nursing Home in Lapinjärvi is currently seeking an energetic practical nurse for hourly work (1–115 h/3 weeks) in a fixed-term employment contract valid until further notice. Korsmalmi Nursing Home is located in Lapinjärvi, in a rural environment in eastern Uusimaa. The premises are situated in the middle of a pine forest. The yard design includes spaces for various communal activities and peaceful enjoyment of nature. There are several separate seating areas in both sun and shade. The yard also features a grill kota. Flower plantings create a pleasant atmosphere in the summer. There are many different tools for outdoor activities, with opportunities to play darts, Mölkky, or croquet. The backyard terrace serves as a smoking area for residents and a lounge space, especially in the summer. Nearby, there are excellent outdoor terrains with ski tracks and blueberry patches; mushrooms also appear in abundance in the surrounding forests in autumn. Korsmalmi Nursing Home is a private nursing home providing 24-hour service housing at various levels, from enhanced service housing to supported housing. The target group consists of adults with dementia caused by substance use, as well as substance abuse and mental health rehabilitation patients. The nursing home has 41 resident places, with 25 single rooms and 8 double rooms. In addition to private rooms, the nursing home has cozy and home-like common areas, such as a reading nook, living rooms, and dining areas.
