HR Operations & International Payroll Specialist - IFS - Remote - Global

As an HR Operations & International Payroll Specialist at Ultimo, you play a key role in ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant HR operations across our international organization. You are responsible for coordinating HR administration, supporting international payroll processes, maintaining employee data, and continuously improving HR processes and systems. You work closely with Finance, our external payroll provider, managers, and the wider HR team to ensure employees are supported throughout the employee lifecycle while maintaining high standards of compliance, data quality, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include managing HR administration from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring accurate processing of employee contracts and HR documentation, maintaining employee records in HRIS (HiBob), coordinating payroll across multiple countries with Finance and external providers (CloudPay), validating payroll outputs, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with legislation. You will also maintain and optimize HR systems, monitor data quality, prepare reports, and support automation initiatives. You will ensure compliance with employment laws, improve HR procedures, and participate in projects. Qualifications include 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations, payroll, or similar, experience with HR systems like HiBob, strong command of Dutch and English, and affinity for digitalization and automation. Full-time availability (32-40 hours/week), working at least 3 days in Nunspeet office. A completed HBO degree or equivalent in HR, Business, Finance, or related fields is preferred.
