Operator

ANDRITZ Fabrics and Rolls Oy in Kerava manufactures cylinder covers for the paper, printing, and metal industries and is part of the international ANDRITZ Group. The company employs approximately 45 people in Finland. The company is seeking an operator for the rubber coating of cylinders. Responsibilities include gluing and rubber coating cylinders according to orders, winding cylinders after coating, protecting axles and other surfaces before vulcanization, vulcanizing cylinders, and maintaining the rubber warehouse. The role also involves machine maintenance, tool warehouse management, SAP entries, and maintaining the cleanliness of machines and surrounding areas. The position is a permanent, full-time role based in Kerava, within walking distance of the Savio train station. Work is performed in a 2-shift system. Candidates should have a vocational qualification in machinery and production technology or other suitable training/extensive work experience, a proactive and open approach, good cooperation and organizational skills, precision, and a desire to learn. Fluency in Finnish is required. Experience in an industrial environment is considered an advantage.
