**Taitola hoivapalvelut Oy** organizes daytime activities for people with intellectual disabilities and other disabilities. We currently operate in Jyväskylä, Äänekoski, Tampere, Helsinki, and Joutseno. The goal of our activities is to support genuine everyday life skills. In daytime activities, regular rhythms of work and leisure are practiced, and an individual journey toward goals and dreams is initiated. Our activities are guided by an individual plan that considers the person's strengths, interests, and development needs. Our task is to produce high-quality content for everyday life through sports, art, handicrafts, and expressive arts. In organizing services, we follow quality criteria that promote inclusion and employment. Our clients are referred to us through the wellbeing services county's disability services. **We are looking for instructors for the daytime activity unit at Taitola Itäkeskus.** Work is available flexibly on a **part-time and full-time** basis, depending on your life situation and the needs of our clients. There is also the possibility of gig-based work or shorter fixed-term contracts. In your work, you will reinforce the client's ability to make their own choices and their everyday skills. Our clients often have needs in social situations, communication, self-awareness, and emotional skills. Our activities are individual and simultaneously communal, taking into account the clients' resources, alertness, and strengths. Your job description includes planning and developing activities together with the work group and clients. **We require from you:** - At least a vocational qualification in the social and/or health care sector (e.g., practical nurse) - Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and people on the autism spectrum who require significant support - Readiness to participate in basic care - Experience and ability to act in challenging and unexpected situations - Excellent teamwork skills - Good Finnish language skills You must have vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis screening (Section 55) completed before starting work.
