The Biochemist II will join BioLegend (a Revvity company) GMP recombinant protein manufacturing team and will be responsible for protein purification, conjugation, formulation, and quality control for GMP product release. The role includes supporting GMP protein manufacturing for GMP products, managing raw materials, inventory, and batch records, and collaborating with manufacturing, QA, and QC teams. The Biochemist will perform purifying recombinant proteins using chromatography methods and conjugation; follow SOPs compliant with ISO and GMP. The position also supports cross-functional manufacturing tasks including work order processing and pilot-lot closure. Additional activities include technical support, document control, validation, training, nonconformance, and CAPA systems. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Life Science or related field; preferred: Bachelor’s with at least 2 years of relevant biotech protein or antibody manufacturing experience. Experience in purification and formulation of recombinant protein or antibody, ISO/GMP environment familiarity. Regular tasks in lab and occasional warehouse exposure. Base salary range is $20.00 - 30.00/hr with benefits listed (health, 401k, stock purchase, etc.).
