Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST for the East Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County for support service and goods procurement for social and health services and rescue services. This is a permanent employment contract, and work begins as agreed. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible within your team for providing procurement services and developing operational activities, monitoring legislation, procurement tendering project tasks, maintaining and monitoring procurement contracts, and other contract management tasks. Additionally, depending on your skills, your duties will include training, orienting, and guiding new staff, providing advice and guidance to operational areas, and developing procurement, e.g., from a cost-effectiveness perspective. We are looking for an active, independent, and enthusiastic expert. We hope you possess flexibility and the ability to work under occasional schedule pressure. We value good IT skills, particularly proficiency in the Cloudia program. We hope you have diverse experience in public procurement. Experience in procurement process development tasks is considered an advantage. The workplace is located in the center of Porvoo with excellent transport connections. You will work as part of a pleasant and supportive five-person team. Occupational health services are provided by Mehiläinen. We also offer the possibility of remote work as agreed. Eligibility requirements include a suitable university degree and sufficient experience in tasks requiring procurement expertise. We require good oral skills in both national languages and good written skills in one of the national languages. Terms of employment are determined in accordance with HYVTES. The position-specific salary is 4160.71 €/month. The position is subject to a six-month probationary period. The working time is office hours, 36 h 15 min per week.
