We are looking for you, Technical Product Manager to join our magnificent team of product and commercial development experts in Neste, Oil Products, Commercial. Our team is making sure our product and commercial offering is rightly balanced in time to respond to the renewable fuel demand and ensuring efficient manufacturing in one of the world's most sophisticated refineries, in Porvoo. In this role you are responsible for managing commercial development projects and offering related technical topics, depending on your background and expertise. In either case, you will work closely with refinery experts, sales, R&D, public affairs, regulatory experts and a number of other internal and external stakeholders. You will report to the Head of Product Management and Commercial Development in Espoo. Location for this position is in Espoo headquarters, but due to the nature of the role and presence of key stakeholders, you will also regularly visit Porvoo research centre and the refinery. Your role in our team - Drive commercial development initiatives related to product offering and efficient refinery utilization. - Plan our future offering of your responsibility product area for 1-5 years by aligning our capabilities, customer interest and Oil Product’s business area strategy. - Support Sales team regarding technical considerations of your responsible product area and provide technical point of contact for key customers, sales, marketing, public affairs and other stakeholders. - Communicate technical information and requirements with a variety of external as well as internal stakeholders. The best combination to succeed in this role - Minimum 3 years of work experience in product management, technical role in chemical or related industry or commercial development in technical area. - A university degree in chemistry or engineering - Proficiency in written and oral English - Proven track record of managing change projects in complex manufacturing environment. - Capability to challenge status quo and look for new ways of making business. - Communication and teamwork skills, decision-making ability and the ability to work independently - Advanced self-leadership skills - Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis We also value a flexible, analytical, stress-resistant, decisive and result orientated working attitude with ability to handle confidential information.
