About the role

We are seeking a class teacher for a co-teaching classroom at Hertsikka Primary School. As a class teacher, you will work in a co-teaching classroom with a partner. You will have a shared large classroom space and shared students. You share the responsibility for teaching and the students' daily lives with your partner. Co-teaching, pedagogical groupings, and other teaching arrangements that support the conditions for learning are part of your everyday basic work. Student support is organized according to the home-classroom model. Special class students study in your classroom for part of the time, and you work closely with the special class teacher. The task includes teaching crafts (hard materials) to several groups. Hertsikka Primary School is an inclusive local school where adults are committed to nurturing a school operating culture that is suitable for everyone. Together we develop the school's pedagogy and co-teaching structures, promote the systematic study of emotional and interaction skills, and maintain a good atmosphere in the school community.
