Are you a sales-minded automation expert who would like to help build a growing business? We are now looking for a Unit Manager for the Maintenance & Services business unit at JIS's Helsinki office. Task As Unit Manager, you are comprehensively responsible for the daily operations, results, and development of the Helsinki maintenance business. The position combines a strong operational and commercial approach. You ensure the smooth organization of work, identify customer needs and upselling opportunities, push things forward, and ensure that the work is reflected in growth. You are responsible for the Helsinki maintenance organization, which you lead according to JIS's principles of leadership. As a supervisor, you play an important role in enabling our success. In your daily work, you lead the maintenance entity in a practical manner. You organize work into smooth wholes by planning, resourcing, and prioritizing activities according to the situation. You perform active customer work and develop customer relationships long-term. You work closely with sales and participate in making offers. You actively participate in the development of the maintenance business by bringing your views to the table, challenging current operating methods, and building better practices based on your experience. About You You are responsible for the overall success and growth of Helsinki maintenance, so the role requires both a hands-on attitude and the ability to look further ahead. You have a suitable education for the position (e.g., automation technology engineer), or alternatively, some experience in building automation. Your way of working is solution-oriented and customer-centric. Thanks to your good organization and prioritization skills, you can manage the moving parts of maintenance work and direct the right resources to the right place. Several tasks to be organized overlap simultaneously, so it is important that you get things done even in the midst of urgency. You are not afraid of the continuous change typical of a growth company, but rather gain energy from being involved in driving changes forward. You already have previous experience in supervisory work and lead your troops with an inspiring and motivating approach, creating a positive atmosphere of doing around you. You are eager to develop and boldly put forward ideas and development suggestions to make our operations even smarter. We Offer At JIS, you get to lead a growing maintenance and service unit, where you have the opportunity to influence the development of both the business and the people. You will be responsible for a team of about 15 people and have the opportunity to build operations long-term together with experienced professionals. You will be surrounded by a low-hierarchy organization where decisions are made agilely and space is given to good ideas. We trust people, give responsibility, and support success. In accordance with our values, no one is left alone, and you are supported by a competent management team and the entire JIS expert organization. About Us The JIS story began in 2001 with one man and a van. When the company's founders traveled around Finland on installation jobs 25 years ago, it was already important to them that although work is done seriously, it must also be fun. These values have been cherished to this day, and the company has grown into one of Finland's largest building automation houses. Today, over 300 top professionals in the electrical and automation field work for us, and the battle against stupidity continues! What sets us apart from others is the JIS spirit, which we hold tightly to. It is important to us that you share our world of values: "no need to call us back", "we do it as a group and help a buddy" and "it works and gets sorted". We do what we promise and always with professional pride. Our community spirit is top-notch and the expertise in the house is at an incredibly high level. Colleagues are helpful and easily approachable - no one is left alone. Further Information and Application Instructions Does this sound like you?
