Mäntsälä Municipality's meal and cleaning services are guided by a customer service perspective. Children and youth are at the center of the services. In Mäntsälä, there are 11 primary schools, 1 comprehensive school, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. There are 5 daycare centers. We offer substitutes of various lengths for meal service workers and cleaners in these units. We announce longer substitutes separately on the municipality's website / Open jobs, which should be followed actively. For short-term substitutes, we hire professionals in the field as well as those studying in the field and others interested in the field. We require the age of 18. A hygiene passport is desirable, but not necessary for short-term substitutes or cleaning work. A tuberculosis clearance regarding the respiratory system for those working with children under school age is checked (Communicable Diseases Act § 55) before the substitute begins. Please note that work is available irregularly and on short notice. Once you have filled out and sent the open application for meal services, the application is immediately registered in our electronic recruitment system. After filling out the application, you will receive a username and password by email or, if you have not provided an email address in your application, the credentials will appear immediately on the screen after sending the application. Write the credentials down for yourself! You will need the username and password in the future when using your electronic calendar or updating your application. After receiving your application, we will contact you to agree on an interview time. In the interview, we will also guide you in the use of the electronic calendar and together define the units in which you want to work. After the interview, you can start using your electronic calendar. Once you have filled in your calendar, you will receive job offers from us by text message to your phone on your desired days. Keeping the calendar up to date is absolutely essential. In addition to the calendar, we can also offer shifts directly by phone.
