We have a need for two registered nurses at the Kerava assessment and rehabilitation units Miina and Helmi. Our work is often challenging – but always meaningful. We are looking for two (2) registered nurses who bring expertise, humanity, and a willingness to meet clients even in demanding situations. The units are located in connection with the Kerava health center. In the assessment and rehabilitation units, the client's functional capacity is mapped extensively and multidisciplinarily. Our common goal is to assess the client's well-being and functional capacity holistically, identify sudden changes, and ensure the right support for the client — whether it's discharge, arranging additional services, or assessing the need for follow-up care. The work of a registered nurse in units offering short-term care is versatile and interesting! Together with a diverse team, you will be able to utilize your nursing expertise during the rehabilitant's rehabilitation and assessment process. The registered nurse participates in practical client work according to the daily division of labor. They act as the shift lead and ensure the smooth implementation of the shift. The registered nurse works closely with the doctor to maintain and promote the health of the rehabilitants and to support rehabilitation. The work is versatile and varied nursing work, in which the registered nurse has central responsibility for medication therapy. In addition, they share their expertise with the work community and participate in the development of operations. We value strong medication therapy expertise, a desire to develop and develop operations. Oral and written Finnish language skills must be good, as oral and written communication is a very significant part of the unit's everyday life. We hope for good interaction skills and straightforward teamwork with the team, clients, and relatives. Our work community is a happy and energetic group of experts, where feeling good at work is important to us – doing the work can and should also be seen as a good feeling in everyday life. Our team includes two line managers and two assistant head nurses, registered nurses, physiotherapists, an occupational therapist, an activity instructor, practical nurses, care assistants, and nursing assistants. The units have 36 client places and the duration of the care period is about 30 days. Our assessment and rehabilitation units are located in Kerava in the health center premises along good transport links. We offer free parking for employees.
