Sales Associate

Are you a service‑minded problem solver who loves pace, energy, and busy shop floors? We’re looking for a salesperson for our department store in Örnsköldsvik. The job at a Rusta department store is fast‑paced, varied, and lively, with you creating the customer experience at the till, among the shelves, and in our campaigns. You greet customers with a smile, ensure the store is neat, stocked and inspiring. One day you help a customer find the right curtain, the next you reorganize an entire department. No two days are the same – and we love that. You don’t need to know everything from day one—we’ll teach you. But we believe you: enjoy talking to people and making their day better; thrive when it’s busy and you solve problems with “I’ll fix it”; can work mornings, days, evenings and weekends; spread positive energy and want to grow with us. If you’ve worked in retail before that’s great, but the most important is your attitude. You can skip a personal letter; if you have a CV, attach it, but the key is to set aside time for our initial chat interview. After you apply you’ll be invited to a chat interview with our chatbot Hubert to speed up and improve the selection process. The interview lasts about 20 minutes. If you progress, there will be a short service-related test, an on-site interview, digital reference checks and a background check. The employment type is permanent with a six‑month probation, part-time 5h/week, shifting mornings, days, evenings and weekends, start date immediate, salary according to collective agreement.
