Software Engineer

Lead Engineer - SW Design We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop low-level firmware and platform software for next-generation SoCs/ASICs. You will work across the product lifecycle, from pre-silicon enablement to post-silicon bring-up, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded software. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for SoCs/ASICs. - Develop bootloaders, BSPs, device drivers, and Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL). - Develop pre-silicon firmware for simulation, emulation, and FPGA platforms. - Support silicon bring-up, board bring-up, hardware validation, debugging, and production enablement. - Develop and optimize firmware for performance, power, memory, and reliability. - Debug hardware/software issues using JTAG, GDB, Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers. - Collaborate with hardware, validation, verification, and architecture teams. - Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical documentation. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to subsystem development. - Utilize AI-powered tools to improve development productivity and documentation. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 6–10+ years of embedded firmware/software development experience. - Strong programming skills in Embedded C and Python. - Experience with bootloaders, BSPs, device drivers, HAL, and RTOS (FreeRTOS/Zephyr). - Knowledge of ARM/RISC-V architectures and interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, and Ethernet. - Strong debugging skills using JTAG, GDB, Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers. - Experience with silicon/board bring-up and hardware-software integration. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
