Structural Engineer / Project Manager Would you like to help design demanding structures and lead interesting projects? We are now looking for a structural engineer / project manager to join our team, take responsibility for projects, work closely with clients and help build a growing consulting organisation. Here, you are not just one designer among others, but an important part of a team where your ideas, development initiatives and expertise are given room. What does the job involve? The role is a varied combination of structural design, project management and client collaboration. Together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for projects progressing and will actively participate in developing technical solutions. Your duties include: - Designing steel and concrete structures - Machine-shop and precast-element design - Coordinating projects and managing overall project scope - Collaborating with clients, contractors and other designers - Developing and optimising design solutions What we offer: - Varied and technically challenging projects - The opportunity to influence your role and develop the company’s practices - A relaxed, low-hierarchy and knowledgeable work community - Flexible working arrangements and modern design tools - Competitive pay - The opportunity to grow into roles with greater responsibility - A pleasant office in Käpylä, with a gym, a darts board and a sporty team (activities have ranged from volleyball to rowing a church boat) What we expect from you: - A suitable higher-education degree (M.Sc. in Technology or an engineering degree from a university of applied sciences) - At least five years of experience in structural-design project work - Strong skills in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD - Experience designing steel and concrete structures - Experience in machine-shop and/or precast-element design - Ability to understand broad project entities and manage your own work - A proactive, responsible and solution-oriented approach Client-facing experience and responsibility for leading projects are considered an advantage.
