As a Registered Nurse, your duties include outpatient work with patients suffering from mental health and substance abuse problems through individual appointments both in person and remotely. Additionally, you will participate in the implementation of basic-level therapeutic groups. The work is part of a multidisciplinary team, and you will work closely with various units of social and health services as well as specialized medical care. Our teams consist of nurses and psychologists. A patient-centered approach that strengthens patient participation is important to us. We use the OMNI Healthcare patient information system. What we hope for from you? - You are a licensed registered nurse in Finland. - Your studies have focused on mental health and/or substance abuse nursing, or you have already gained experience in the field. - Strong expertise in substance abuse nursing is considered an advantage, and experience in assessing the need for mental health and substance abuse treatment is valued. - You have an independent way of working, are open to development, and have the ability to make independent decisions with the support of the team. - You have successfully completed the LOVe online tests for medication administration. The position starts as agreed, but we hope you can start as soon as possible. The position is fixed-term until 31.12.2026. The probationary period is half the length of the employment relationship. Working hours are full-time, averaging 38 h 15 min/week. Shifts are primarily morning shifts on weekdays. The selected candidate must have valid vaccine protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016) and must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6, subsection 4 of the Criminal Records Act before the employment begins.
