Do you want to combine personnel management and clinical nursing expertise in a versatile and meaningful role? We are now looking for an assistant ward manager for the Jorvi Hospital Emergency Department in a permanent position. What do you do in your work? As an assistant ward manager, you act as the ward manager's important partner and as part of the emergency department's leadership team. Together with the rest of the team, you are responsible for the smooth flow of daily nursing care, personnel management, and operational development. Your leadership team includes, in addition to yourself: * ward manager * assistant ward manager * teaching nurse * head nurse You will influence staff well-being, competence development, and the implementation of high-quality care services. The work includes personnel administrative and work leadership tasks, personnel planning, and acting as a substitute for the ward manager. You also maintain your own clinical expertise by regularly participating in practical nursing work. The work is two-shift work focusing on morning shifts. What do we hope for from you? Eligibility requirements: Suitable higher university degree and suitable experience or lower university degree supplemented by suitable studies in management or administration or included in the degree and suitable experience or previously approved ward manager qualification and suitable experience or a vocational degree in the field supplemented by studies in management or administration and suitable experience and additionally a licensed healthcare professional. Language requirements: good oral and written skills in Finnish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Swedish, or good oral and written skills in Swedish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Finnish. We require vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health statement on pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units.
