Chief Project Engineer

We are looking for a Chief Project Engineer for Electrical and Automation with a main responsibility in leading the delivery of the contractual technical solution in customer delivery projects. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but Helsinki is negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid work with certain terms. Your role will include supervising ordered services, purchasing, quality, contract/requirement compliance, customer satisfaction, schedules and budget of your responsibility area, in close cooperation with Project Manager and other project stakeholders. The tasks can be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the Energy Services Upgrades Project team with diverse expertise. Responsibilities include participating in customer/stakeholder negotiations and maintaining good relationships, understanding the contract and adapting requirements to the project solution, Plan and manage works under your own responsibility area, manage project activities including engineering, procurement, manpower, logistics, and site activities, follow-up and report on quality, resources, costs, schedule and scope, identify and report risks, substitute for Project Manager when needed, and provide sales support when needed. Requirements: M.Sc./B.Sc. in electrical/automation engineering; project management experience, preferably in energy and power plant projects; knowledge of engine power plants and solutions; experience with medium/high voltage and BESS systems; excellent problem solving and analytical skills; contract management; willingness to travel.
