Social Worker in Early Childhood Education

We are looking for a social worker in early childhood education for a permanent position starting August 24, 2026. As a social worker in early childhood education, you will work in a small group of 14 children. Working alongside you in the group are an early childhood education teacher and two childcare assistants. We emphasize small group activities, visual support, and a clear structure, which create a safe and developing learning environment for the children. To support your work, you will have a committed work community, and collaboration with various experts enables the development of pedagogy and the utilization of diverse working methods. In our daily routine, we actively use the diverse facilities of the day care: we have our own gym available throughout the day as well as a dining hall where the oldest children of our day care eat. Additionally, we collaborate closely with the library located in the same building - books and reading are strongly integrated into our daily life and support the children's linguistic development and multilingualism. Our day care operates in a multi-purpose building opened in June 2024, located at Stoltinkatu 9, which houses eight day care groups as well as play and family club activities organized together with the parish.
