WE Rekry Oy - TIG Welder Can you produce clean TIG welds on stainless steel and are you comfortable with your work being inspected? In this role, you will work with genuine materials, primarily on day shifts in the Turku region. If you are interested in travel assignments, those are occasionally available, but they are not mandatory. Who is the employer? We are seeking a TIG welder for our client in the metal industry, who provides stainless steel solutions for industrial use. The work is tangible, delivering finished results for the customer from fabrication to installation. Careful work, the ability to read drawings correctly, and reliability are valued. The team atmosphere is direct and professional. Doing the job properly is what matters most. What does your workday look like? In this role, you will work mainly with stainless steel (RST) materials. The work is hands-on, centered around TIG welding, but also includes other metalwork depending on the project. Your duties include, for example: * TIG welding for stainless steel * fabricating parts and structures according to drawings * fitting, assembling, and finishing parts * checking work quality and ensuring a clean finish * installation-related tasks as needed * optional travel work at customer sites Work is primarily day shifts in the Turku region. Some projects may involve travel, for which per diems and other agreed compensations are paid. What skills are required? We hope you already have experience in TIG welding and can handle the work relatively independently. Most importantly, your basic skills must be sound and your approach to work responsible. * experience in TIG welding * proficiency in welding stainless steel * ability to read drawings * precise and careful work ethic * ability to work independently * willingness to undertake travel work if necessary Beneficial skills Experience in industrial installation or assembly work, valid certifications, welding qualifications, or a broader practical understanding of metal industry work is a plus. However, you do not need to know everything from the start.
