Practical Nurse

We are seeking four (4) practical nurses for the Wellbeing Services County of Southern Ostrobothnia, with the initial placement in Vaasa home care central area 2 (Old Vaasa, Ristinummi, Huutoniemi, Kiilapalsta, Purola, Korkeamäki, Suvilahti). As a practical nurse, you will work in the homes of various clients according to their service plans, both independently and with your professional and versatile team. The work is based on a 3-shift rotation and is diverse, varied, and developmental. The role requires good cooperation and interaction skills, as well as patience and humor. We value a customer-oriented mindset, flexibility, and initiative. We hope you have a positive attitude towards technology and a desire to develop your own work. Eligibility requirements: Degree of Practical Nurse or a degree in accordance with the Decree on Healthcare Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Care Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of the country. Those with a practical nurse degree are required to be registered in both professional registers of the Licensing and Supervision Authority, Terhikki and Suosikki. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). Additionally, the selected candidate must present an extract from the criminal record as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period will be applied.
