Personal Assistant

We are seeking a personal assistant through the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County for a permanent employment contract for a 14-year-old young man in Laukaa. The employer has epilepsy and a mild physical disability and moves independently by walking. The employer needs slight assistance with dressing and toilet visits. Communication is via support signs and a communication tablet; the employer does not speak. Work is offered variably at 30 h/month for leisure time. Shifts will be planned during the employment. Tasks include assisting with errands and leisure activities. The employer enjoys swimming, Jypin games, and visiting the youth center. Due to the nature of the work, the employer hopes for a male assistant. Salary: Heta TES A 13.23 €/h + possible experience bonuses Employment relationships are always private. The person selected for the position is employed by the assisted person/the assisted person's guardian. Information for the person selected for an interview/employment will be provided personally. Work begins once a suitable assistant is found. The employer is obliged to request the selected employee's criminal record extract, as the assistant's duties include working with children under 18 in situations where the child's guardian is not present (Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children 504/2002).
