Our Finance team ensures that this growth rests on a solid, efficient and future-ready foundation. Your role You combine in-depth accounting expertise with a clear focus on efficient processes. You analyse our accounting processes, including payment operations, and make them leaner, more standardised and automated. You not only introduce new tools, but also get more out of our existing systems. AI is an important tool for you: as the AI Champion in Finance, you recognise where it can create real value and help the team make use of it. You are a driver, implementer and point of contact, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. What you can look forward to: You analyse end-to-end accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly and annual closing under HGB, and identify weaknesses and manual activities. You optimise payment processes, particularly payment reconciliations, coordination with payment service providers, escrow payments, payouts to dealers and clearing open items. You develop improvement proposals and implement them together with the team, from standardisation to automation. You optimise existing tools and systems, make better use of their capabilities and introduce new solutions where appropriate. You identify concrete AI use cases, for example document processing, account assignment, payment allocation, reconciliations, variance analyses and documentation, and put them into practice. You build prototypes, test them in everyday work and scale what works. You ensure that all solutions meet the requirements for proper accounting, GoBD and IKS. You train and empower colleagues and establish a culture of continuous improvement. You work closely with all Finance teams and the Data team. You contribute to our transformation projects, especially ERP. What distinguishes you: Completed commercial vocational training, further education such as a certified accountant qualification, or a degree specialising in accounting. Several years of professional accounting experience, ideally with exposure to payments or payment operations. Sound knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge would be an advantage. Confident use of DATEV and experience with common ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Knowledge of LucaNet is an advantage. Initial practical experience with process improvement, automation or AI tools, such as ChatGPT/Claude, Copilot, RPA, Power Automate, Excel macros, Python or SQL; you do not need to be a developer, but should enjoy trying things out. Analytical thinking, a hands-on mentality and the ability to win others over to change. Very good German and good English skills. What we offer: A key role with considerable scope to shape things.
