Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a part-time (50%) catering worker for a permanent position in Lyseonmäen school kitchen. Lyseonmäen school prepares and serves daily meals to about 430 customers. We look for someone who values high-quality food service, enjoys working with others, and wants to help create pleasant dining moments for schoolchildren. The role consists of assisting in food service tasks: pre-preparation, serving and dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning tasks. Working hours on weekdays around 10:30-14:20. Qualifications: a catering basic qualification or equivalent prior training; previous experience in similar tasks is advantageous. Hygienic certificate required. We seek a person who is cooperative, enjoys teamwork, greets customers in a friendly and professional manner, and maintains work quality even in busy times. We also value the desire to develop the work and contribute to high-quality food services for youths. Good Finnish language skills required.
