Practical Nurse

Practical Nurse (2 pcs) for elderly 24-hour assisted living at Attendo Puistokartano. We are on our way to becoming a home. At Puistokartano, every resident deserves to be met as themselves and live a full life. As a practical nurse, you map residents' resources, identify their needs for help, and plan, implement, and evaluate residents' functional capacity and care together with residents and the entire multidisciplinary team. What will you do? Assist residents in everyday life and basic care according to individual plans; take care of stimulating activities according to your expertise and interest; participate in medication and nursing procedures (e.g., catheterization, ostomy and wound care) supported by the home's nurses; implement a rehabilitative approach in residents' everyday life with the support of the home's physiotherapist; participate closely in cooperation with relatives and doctors in the role of a primary caregiver; cooperate with the multidisciplinary team. You may also take on responsible tasks (e.g., RAI, nutrition). Both positions are full-time and valid until further notice. Work is 2-shift work (night shifts possible if desired). Part-time work is also possible. Requirements: Vocational qualification in social and health care (practical nurse); vaccination protection as intended by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act; hygiene passport or readiness to complete it within three months; good Finnish language skills; criminal record extract for employment over three months; Sote professional card or readiness to acquire it; medication permits or completion at the start of employment.
