We are seeking a VETERINARY NURSE for a permanent position at the University Veterinary Hospital. Our University Veterinary Hospital is a unique unit with various roles and experts! As a teaching hospital, our daily work consists of diverse tasks; we train future veterinarians, serve as a continuing education site for specializing veterinarians, and provide a training placement for veterinary nursing students. You will work in various departments of the small animal hospital, or if you wish, you can focus on your own professionally strong area of expertise. Duties include, among other things, assisting veterinarians in various procedures, emergency work, anesthesia monitoring, as well as monitoring and implementing care for hospital or intensive care patients. Additionally, veterinary nurses participate in supervisory work. Tasks are performed in shift work, which includes day shifts as well as evening, night, and weekend shifts. We ensure pay equity through the university's salary system. University positions are divided into different requirement levels based on the tasks. In addition to the requirement-level-specific salary component, a percentage-based salary component based on individual performance is paid. For this position, the salary is approximately €2,547-2,895 /month (requirement level 5, typical performance percentage approx. 10-25%). However, the salary is always finalized based on the selected person's experience, expertise, and final responsibilities.
